02/05/04 02:42 PM: 2 weeks in a nutshell
I know its been about a month since my last update. I’m starting to feel like Jim Anchower, one of the guest columnists off of The Onion. Perhaps I should preface all my updates with a “I know its been a while since I rapped at y’all.” and that would make it all better. I kind of find it funny that I’m being so lax in the updates because I used to get on dave for just that thing. Now I’m the one getting threatening IM messages. Oh the irony.
My memory only works in two week periods, so the first two weeks after my last update are lost forever. Don’t worry, they weren’t that interesting anyway. Trust me. Lets go with what I do know though. We’ve had 30+ inches of snow in the last two weeks. Only two snow days out of it though. Its snowing now too, which is hilarious because of the whole irony thing.
We picked up some new guys for SigEp, which is great. I really think that we got the best of the campus, not to mention that they are really fun guys. We’ve been getting to know them for the past week or so and it was pretty fun.
I also have a new love interest. It is kind of funny because we don’t agree on anything. Polar opposites. I like pepsi, shes a coke person. I lean towards the republican side of politics, she is a democrat. The two cds she plays in her car are Celine Dion and Cher. Its probably the worst possible match made in heaven, but shes got personality, and personality goes a long way.
I think I’m going to start a new section called Songs I’ve Been Rocking Out To. With the poor state of music, I think its my duty to tell everyone about the small portion of music thats actually decent to listen to. Format is song title-artist. Top Three songs make it. Here goes.
Last Train Home – Lost Prophets
Always - Suburbia
This Love - Maroon 5
Rock on.
