09/23/03 01:05 PM: Back in D.C.

I took a trip this weekend back to Chicago, and it was wonderful. I flew out of D.C. Saturday morning and came back very very early yesterday. While I wasn’t back for very long, it was definitely worth it. I return once again in 17 days for Columbus Day weekend.

I have a cover story to work on for The Voice, on the RIAA and their lawsuits against college students, etc. That, along with an Econ midterm and a History paper should keep me occupied for the next week or so.

I’ve received more hate mail from my column in The Voice. It’ll run as a letter to the editor in this week’s issue. I love this. I think it’s very cool that people take the time to write a letter to the editor because of something I wrote. At least that means people are reading what I write.

I wish I got letters complementing me on my wonderful photos of Barney Frank and Father Pat, but that’s another story. So is the life of the photojournalist. Maybe one day I’ll win a Pulitzer. Hmmm!
