10/28/03 11:38 PM: Belle & Sebastian

So I saw Belle & Sebastian tonight at the 9:30 Club. I had a photo pass, so I was able to get close and hopefully get some good pictures. I will get them developed on Thursday, and if I have time I’ll try to get some scanned soon afterwards.

I must say, B&S are amazing live. I had heard some people, *cough*adrienne*cough* say that they aren’t anything spectacular live… but I disagree. They had three violinists, a cellist, a french horn, and a trumpet, in addition to the main band members. It was great! Though, they didn’t play “The Boy with the Arab Strap” but at least they did do “Women’s Realm” so I was happy.

But now, I am very tired.

    aka sleater-kinney, the mates of state, ben folds, the postal service, desaparecidos.

    b/s is good for what they do live tho.

    In the meantime, if I want to take photos with a 180mm/f2.8 lens, then I’m going to have to shoot film.
