Is it me or has everyone suddenly become a Cubs fan? Honestly, I’m out in Nebraska and I see kids from Colorado wearing Cubs hoodies. Everyone is Iowa is absolutely obsessed. Its not like these kids are from the east part either. Souix Falls? I mean, Nebraska doesn’t have any pro sports. Hell, the only thing they have here is Husker Football.
I guess what I’m trying to say is that if you are going to root for one team, do it. But don’t root for whoever is winning or the media darlings at the moment. Its sad, and people will call you on it.
Yesterday I sold Tshirts for a Brooks and Dunn concert to raise money for the fraternity. I also saw my first rodeo. For as redneckish as they are, its actually pretty cool. Try one out soon.
It is the weekend. I love being done at 10:30 on a friday. It just makes me feel so good. I have a huge project due for Comparitive Govn’t, so I might not be posting for a while. Or, I might update just because I’m putting it off.
Its time for what will become a Friday Tradition. Happy hour at Cali Taco. If you are ever in the Omaha area, you must go to Cali Taco. 33rd and California. The tacos are excellent and the atmosphere is great. I’m out like a fat kid in dodgeball.

10.) the fans-north side yuppies who carry cell phones where ever they go and only go to wrigley for its charm and personality. Oh man and I almost forgot the beer!
9.) wrigley field-this is year 2003 get rid of the chalk board and the damn ivory on the walls. Whenever i go to wrigley i am always surrounded by tons of drunkin cubs fans who smell like piss.I almost forgot…smuthered in the seats i paid 50 dollars for
8.) no cubs fan is knowledgable- before this playoff season i bet no cubs fan knew any player on the team besides kerry wood, mark prior and sammy sosa
7.)how they play-the cubs cannot come back…a quote from a cubs fan “the cubs dont give up its the fans that do” if your whole reason why you will depends on your fans you never deserve to win in the first place! You cant blame not going to the world series on that fan! u suck!
6.)cubs fans think they should go to a world series cause they havent been there since 1945 nor won one since 1908…not cause they deserve one
5.)dusty baker- in dusty we trusty?..givmme a break….two years of makin it so close…but in the end his teams choke!
4.)kerry wood-with the fat flat fast ball you are goin no where buddy….you just end up choking when your team needs you the most

2.)they are the lovable losers….all they do is let their fans down….whats so lovable about that? nothing! people love them for no reason. I dont understand it …they havent been to the world series since 1945.. not to mention 1969!
1.) Sammy Cork Sosa- Sluggin Sammy? Givmme a break! This man is not just a cheater… he blames the cork on the bat boy …but dont you think sammy sosa that after playing 10 years of professional baseball you would know the difference between a bat with cork in it and a bat w/o cork in it? Dont blame it on anything else besides yourself. You strike out everytime your team need you. you hit a homerun everytime they dont ….so what he hits a lot of homeruns you still suck. Your so slow when you play right field. And that lil hop you do after you think you hit one out…letmme just say you look like a real ass when you dont!! You suck face it! Even the steroids you shoot between you toes dont help! Please learn how to speak also!
