It’s the weekend again, yay.
I just finished watching some videos for French, so I thought I would take a moment to update the website. One note, before I forget to mention it, everyone wish a happy birthday to the other dave here at WWU, dfd. He is now the big 20, even though in America that birthday doesn’t have much significance.
Last night was also one of my floormate’s birthday, and we (some of us from the floor) took her out to dinner. However, the caveat was we needed to find a Chinese restaurant. Well, I guess there aren’t any good Chinese restaurants in Georgetown, so we walked to Rosslyn. It was about a 25 minute walk over the Potomac to Virginia, but it was a nice dinner. I guess it was worth it. The rest of the night was entertaining, with us heading over to Alumni Square, until the point at which some moron in Village B decided to pull the fire alarm. So we had to clear out and that pretty much killed the rest of the night. I walked back with some other people from my floor. However, I wasn’t really tired as I had slept in, so I ended up going out on the Patio with some other people and a pizza was ordered. There were issues with the way it was charged to someone’s GoCard (It’s the GU Debit Card type thing, ala WILDCard for anyone who goes to Northwestern…), so that wasn’t straighted out until around 3 AM. Oh well, it was a nice night so I won’t complain.
Tonight at 8 PM I have an interview with the College Democrats for the Freshman Rep. position on the board. I have the very last interview, so they will remember me. I am determined to get this spot! If I lose, oh well, but I would like to win.
