10/11/02 12:54 PM: Fall Break!
Ahh, its just like Christmas, only I don’t get any presents, or there isn’t snow, and there aren’t any carolers or cookies. But its fall break. I’m counting down the hours until my last class is going to finish. Right now I’m at 2. Then I get to fly home and I have a whole week to myself. The first thing I’m going to do it go to my old job and make myself a pizza. The pizza in Omaha is crap. Then, I’m going to get a haircut. I have not have a haircut in 2 months, and I have taken to wearing hats everywhere so I don’t have to mess with my hair. I would have liked to just sit at home and do absolutely nothing, but my parents have other plans. Apparently I’m doing yard work when I get home. Woohoo. Oh well, I’m looking forward to the break in classes. It would be better if I didn’t have a paper due when I get back, but hey, its a week off.
In other news, I got a loft for free. All I had to do was buy 4 boards and screws. The whole thing cost about $15, which is a steal, considering people were paying $150 for lofts at the beginning of the year. I liked my bed on the ground, but due to events that happened last weekend, I got the loft. It opens up the room a lot though, so we can have even better parties up in my room.
I have to pack, so the next time I update will be from my house. Think about it, I will be able to sleep in my own bed, take showers without sandals on, and eat all the home cooked food I want.
