Flashbacks!
So, Dick Cheney has announced that President Bush will govern in the tradition of Reagan. Wonderful, we get to raise the debt, increase the military exponentially, and cause recessions. Well of course I am exaggerating here, but still. I thought Bush was bringing a new tone to Washington.. not bring back the 1980 tone. And of course, if you are governing as Reagan did, we must have a missle shield. “At the earliest possible date, this administration will build and deploy a defense against ballistic missiles,” Cheney said. Lets not only piss off the Russians by bombing Iraq, but also lets void all of our ABM treaties as well. They are just itching for another cold war, aren’t they? Then the 80s throwback would be complete…
