08/06/03 05:43 PM: Founding Issues

Remember my other weblog, Founding Issues? Well, it’s currently in hiatus mode, but I am planning on bring it back, and better than it was before.

You see, the way it operated before was that I skimmed the news everyday, and would attempt to throw together some meaningful commentary on the day’s events. While this is wonderful for readers, it was draining for me. I spent the day trolling the Drudge Report, the newswires, and the websites of all the world’s major newspapers. This was fun for about a month, but then I burned out.

So that brings me to the reorganinzation plan for Founding Issues. I know a lot of the readers here at whichwayup.org are interested (and perhaps active) in politics. So, this is an open invitation to any interested parties to join me in version 2.0 of Founding Issues.

My vision for the site is a place where people from all across the political spectrum post their views on the important issues of today. Republican, Democrat, Libertarian, Green, Socialist. Before it was just me, along with all of my biases. It didn’t exactly provide a diverse discussion of the issues.

SO! If you are even remotely interested in taking part in the relaunching of Founding Issues, leave a comment on this post or drop me an email at dave@whichwayup.org. There is no specific commitment to being a contributor, no requirements such as X many posts per month or anything like that. All I’ll need is your name, your general political affiliation (party), and a short biography. You can even put it on your resume, it’ll look fancy and such.
