Well, after some long deliberations, I have made some decisions and as such I have some site news to deliver.
First of all, I have to announce that dfd will be leaving the posting staff. While he has not posted that recently, he has been with the site since July 2001. He did some guest blogging while I was out of town, and had stuck around since then. If you ever want your guest columnist status back, just let me know.
Secondly, I have been thinking about how to best mix my posts about my personal life and my posts that are politically oriented. I have decided that the best way to do this is to spin-off my political posts into their own weblog. It seemed to me that my audience was divided into those who wanted more political rants (and less personal rants) and those who wanted me to discuss more of my personal life. Thus, I have decided that from now on the majority of my political writing will be located at a new weblog, FoundingIssues.com.
This being said, whichwayup.org will now focus more on personal-type entries, along with the music reviews, interesting links, etc. I believe this is the best way to achieve some sort of balance between the two realms of weblogging.
