02/23/03 08:36 PM: Grammy’s?

Well, at the behest of some loyal readers, I have decided to update the site. I feel bad, as I haven’t really been updating much lately, but I’ve been seeing record numbers of visits. One would think this would encourage me to update more often, but, well I guess you’d be wrong.

In any case, the Grammy’s were tonight. As of press time, Norah Jones has pretty much swept. However, since no one really cares about the Grammy’s anyway, I suppose no further discussion of this is needed. See the winners here if you are curious.

This weekend was uneventful, Friday night consisting of watching The Bourne Identity, and then recieving a drunken phone call informing me that my campus phone number is “4-PIMP.” I hadn’t thought about my phone number in that way before, but whatever. “Yo, dial me 4 PIMP, word.”

Saturday was spent doing something resembling reading, and working on some other projects. Then I took a trip to a local Apple store, but it was closed. So, I went and bought some pound cake at Whole Foods. That’s some damn good pound cake too. And these are some high quality Snickerdoodles as well. That place is indeed dangerous, everything looks so good and european, and is so expensive.

Browsing the news, I saw this, Clinton: Bono succeeded where I failed. An interesting article about Bono, and how Clinton thinks he is a person we should “follow into the new millennium.” I agree. And not just because I’m a U2 fan… I mean I’m a Radiohead fan too, but I don’t think I would want Thom Yorke ruling the world.

I’m considering spinning off a separate weblog for my political/news analysis pieces (such as my Iraq piece), so that this can be dedicated for more personalish type posts. Anyone have any opinions about that? Loyal readers perhaps? (Nudge, Nudge).

I only wish I had some more interesting things to talk about, but alas, I am lacking tonight. I have some things I’d like to discuss, actually, but I don’t really have the time to write about them now, and I really don’t know if I want to post them here at the moment. We shall see, so stay tuned this week.

Only something like 10 days until “Spring” break.
