So as I was leaving the school tonight, following a basketball game, it was noticed by one fellow student that there was a halo around the moon. The initial observation was something along the lines of, “Holy shit, what the hell is that?” I looked up, and saw a ring around the moon, a very large ring, extending throughout the evening sky. I had heard of such things before, so I was able to debunk the claims that it was some sort of paranormal event. Anyway, check this out, for a picture of one such halo and a brief explanation.
