09/18/03 02:00 PM: Hurricane Isabel
As Hurricane Isabel pummels Washington, I thought I would take a few moments to update.
It’s rather gusty here, with the rain coming down pretty hard. If the storm becomes fairly spectacular, I will attempt to take some photos out my window.
Hopefully everything will be cleared up by Saturday, when I will be flying home to Chicago for the weekend.
I also want to welcome Adrienne to the site, I think it will be nice to have another person writing for us, and she will be the first female writer we have had, so that will be a nice change.
I don’t have much more to report at the moment, other than Wesley Clark is indeed running for president. I had predicted this sometime back in April when he came to Georgetown, though now my feelings for him are rather mixed. I don’t really know enough about him at all to either support/not support him. More, obviously, will come out about him now that he is subjecting himself to the spotlight.
