Today was one of those days that began early, and will end late. I am defining early in this case as 6 AM. As always, doing delivery for The Voice proved to be as great as it has been in the past.
The rest of the day was spent working on various papers, due tomorrow. It has been a long week—quite like last week. Perhaps next week will not be so bad. The three-day weekend will perhaps make it bearable.
Oh, so my power adapter for my iBook decided to quit working tonight. That only added to my frustration. I really just want to go to sleep, but since it’s been a few days since I updated the site, I figured I would give my multitude of avid readers something to read.
We are on high alert here in Washington, which means you must go outside and buy duct tape. My recommendation is that you promptly place said duct tape over your mouth and nose. My bet is that the bin Laden boys have invested in Home Depot and Duck Brand™ Duct Tape stock. These people who are panicking over these terror alerts make me angry. Especially people from places like Middle-of-nowhere, Montana, who are really scared that their town will be a primary target because it happens to have a weather station or something else of “national importance.” Screw that, I’m in the middle of things and I’m not about to flinch. Somebody just send me a text message that says “The bomb is in play” if you find out we are all about to die. At least I can go out with a laugh.
Tomorrow (Today, actually) is Valentine’s Day. That’s about all I’m going to say about that.
