07/23/01 07:21 PM: Writer's Block

I had a hard time coming up with something to write tonight. So, why not do what we all do when we don’t know what to say! That’s right, talk about the weather. It’s been hot here (I live in a suburb of Boston, Massachusetts) today but it has been abnormally cool this whole month. So, I can’t complain.

So I’ll take this moment of zero-inspiration to tell you a little more about me. I will be a sophomore at Northeastern University in Boston, MA. I am majoring in Business Administration and minoring in Computer Science. The main reason I chose this particular University rather than the multitude of choices in Boston is primarily due to the Coop program. Basically you get to work during two out of four quarters in some meaningless job that theoretically gives you valuable practical experience. “Practice Oriented Education” is their particular chosen buzzword for this process. Anyway, I will start working for some company doing something hopefully not boring sometime in January 2002. It’s something to look forward to, if only to break the monotony of going to school all year. The only downside? No summer breaks after this year. Oh, and it is a 5 year program. Oh well.

Anyway, that’s probably more than you wanted to know! Next time learn more about paper clips! Wait and see…
