So, I decided that due to my great dislike of the French In Action™ system of French language instruction I would burn my French In Action workbook. Since I dropped my French class (Sigh, I know, I need to make up my mind, but I’m going to stick with Spanish, I will get better grades), I don’t need the workbook anymore and I can’t sell it back to the Bookstore since I wrote in it…

Now, a few disclaimers, I did this in an open area covered with snow and ice, so the fire would not spread. I put it in a metal trash can so it wouldn’t blow away or anything, and I stood a good distance from it.

Muhahaha!

And no, I’m not a pyromaniac. This was merely a symbolic act. Afterwards I smelled like burnt books, a scent that is familiar to John Ashcroft. Thank goodness for Febreeze.
