I have not yet gone to school today. I was watching television right before leaving to go to said school when I first saw the coverage. At first, no one knew what had happened. I stood there watching when all of a sudden the second airliner hit the building. I saw it happen live, and that really scared me. I’m not ashamed to say that. At that point, my mom called the school and said I’d be late. Then as I watch the Pentagon is hit by a plane, and reports are coming in about several other jets being hijacked.
The Sears Tower and numerous other places in Chicago are closed. My mom called the school again and said I probabally would not be coming in. They said “Oh, what, does he think HF Highschool is next?”
Then the towers collapse. Then a plane crashes in Pittsburgh. Then the Pentagon collapses. Is it wrong that I am not at school right now? Should I instead go and try to take a Calculus exam this afternoon? I doubt I will be able to actually do the test.
