I saw Angel Eyes tonight. It was quite good, actually. You can’t help but love a love story. There was one thing, however, that seemed pretty illogical. Don’t worry, I’m not giving the story away. This guy gets into a car accident that kills his wife and son. It freaks him out so much that he gets a new apartment, changes his name, doesn’t talk about the accident. Basically, he starts a new life. And, for good measure, he is scared to death of driving. So, the accident completely changes his life and he becomes a bit of a nutcase. Anyway, he eventually gets cozy with Jennifer Lopez, and she gets him to open up and deal with the accident. As she is about to drive away with him in the last scene, he decides that he wants to try driving again. AND HE DOESN’T WEAR HIS SEATBELT. Hello? You’d think he might have learned.
