10/29/01 07:18 PM: Georgetown Interview

I think my Georgetown interview went reasonably well. I don’t believe I “wow’ed” the interviewer, but he seemed to think I was pretty competent. The guy lived in a little rich neighborhood with giant houses. I couldn’t see many of the house numbers, but I happened to park in front of the right one by accident. I ended up parking too close to the curb—okay, on the curb—because the street was so narrow I was afraid I’d block the damn thing. I thought I ruined another hubcap when I pulled away. It made an awful scratching sound. What was it, two, three months ago that I destroyed a hubcap on a curb? Luckily, it just got scraped up a bit and didn’t actually bend this time. You have no idea how relieved I am.
