Today on Wide World of Idiocy: insurance policy. This girl pulled out at a stop sign and hit my car three weeks ago. It is still getting fixed. Now the girl’s insurance company says that I have to pay twenty percent of the $3700 repair bill because I was 20 % negligent. Their explanation of my negligence is that my car “was moving.” Beware, you may be negligent if somebody plows into your car at any time other than when it is parked. And good lord, what if you should park it negligently?
