So it has been a few days since I updated the site. Oh well, so it goes. I have been busy here. After all, this is college! Yeah… well anyway.
So, you ask, “Good sir, what have you been doing during the past few days?”
Well, on Friday night, I didn’t do anything! Yes, that’s right, I stayed in. Our floor (Term used loosely, more like 3-4 people) decided to order a pizza. After chatting with them for a while, I retired to my room where I watched some TV and played with my computer. While you may say this was a boring Friday night, I did discover that someone on my floor is in my French class, so we can share the pain of that. Also, his cousin works at the White House, as a policy advisor. That’s pretty cool, even if its for the Bush White House.
This brings us to Saturday. What did I do Saturday afternoon? I read my book about Brazil! I still have more of that book to read also, and it’s so bad. It is so boring, words cannot describe. Then that night I went to Uncommon Grounds (Campus coffee shop) with these girls from my floor, and we talked for something like two and a half hours. That was fun, more fun then going to some stupid party, in my opinion.
Sunday! Sunday was fun. I recieved two of my packages finally, though neither of the ones I really need! These were just some things I had ordered from Amazon, and neither of my packages from home are available yet. The campus mail system thing is completely messed up, hopefully I will get them soon. Sunday also was made up of more reading on Brazil. We (My roommate and some of our friends) decided to go out to dinner, instead of eating more of the hideous dining hall food. So we went to this rather nice establishment called The Tombs. That was fun, and I got to eat some decent food! Go me! Following dinner, I went with some people to see a showing of Animal House here on campus, then hung around doing various things until we noticed it was about 3AM and decided it was probably a bit late.
That brings us to right now, 1 PM on Monday and I have really just gotten fully awake (i.e. finished waking up, showering, grooming). I have some more to read, and some stupid things to write, and some French to practice, so today isn’t exactly fun day but that’s OK!
