Isn’t our country great? Well, I hope you can see my sarcasm. Looks like McCain-Feingold might just pass without any horrible amendments which will undo it. Well that’s all fine and good, but when it reaches the White House, our installed President Bush will just veto it. Wonderful how our country works, isn’t it? So lets review, the President who cheated his way into office with the aid of millions of dollars worth of soft money is going to veto the bill which will ban soft money? Does anyone see something wrong with this picture? Not to mention that but he has also decided that the U.S. can just void international treaties, whether they be environmental or the ABM treaty. If this were any other country, wouldn’t the we be calling for U.N. sanctions??? Next thing we will probabally invade Kuwait, yeah because of our “domestic energy crisis.”
