It’s an outrage!

Thursday, February 1st 2000 was planned to be the premier of the show Politics Now! on my school’s radio station. Our planned guest was U.S. Representitive Jesse Jackson Jr. (D – Illinois). Today, at 2:45 PM the managers of the station agreed to have the show air and made the final confirmations. At the very last minute our brainless, almost moronic Sports Director says that there is a Girls basketball game on Thursday. Everybody drops the idea of the show with Rep. Jackson, and instead I was told by the program director that the show would not air at all on Thursday, under any circumstances. So we are snubbing a U.S. Congressman in favor of a Girls basketball game. Have these people lost their minds? I am going to try to convince them tommorow to change their minds, but if not, this is just insane. Cancelling on our district’s representitive in the United States Congress, this is a slap in the face of a hard working man. I am outraged, who do these people think they are to cancel the show. I’m going to fight for this. The show will air on Thursday, and hopefully I will put a recording on the site for you to listen to. If for some reason I cannot get confirmation that the show will air, I will post it on this website, and let everyone know that my school prefers a basketball game over our U.S. Representitive. Blargo, this is making me so damn mad.
