Ahh, there is nothing like celebrating our democracy by blowing up bombs made by communists. Don’t get me wrong, this is one of my favorite holidays, but I just thought of the irony at work today.
I was going to update last night, but my sister thinks that the world should revolve around her, and rather than fight with her about the fallacies of this kind of thought process, I decided to go to bed. I got an interesting piece of mail last night about spending a semester in Washington at American University. At first it seemed like all the crap I got last year about scholarships, but it sounded like a cool program. It would also help me get some really good internships in DC. I’ll get more information about it later. Right now I have to pick up my sister, so I think I’m going to take my time getting there.
