12/23/01 10:26 PM: Just isn’t right

So Christmas is fast approaching, just a little over a half-hour here in Illinois.

I have to say that today was significantly less productive than I had hoped. However, I am going to cut myself some slack, because it just isn’t right to study on Christmas Eve. (Or Christmas for that matter). What did I do instead of practicing Integrals or reading about Oligopoly? ... I organized my mp3 collection. Yeah, I went through and actually added correct ID3 tags to all of them. ALL OF THEM! That isn’t really easy when I have 1,540 songs to go thru. How did accomplish this great feat? With the aid of a program called MusicMatch Jukebox. I had never used it before today, but when I learned of it’s “SUPERTAG” feature, I gave it a whirl. I have to say that it was worth the five minutes I spent searching for a valid registration code. The “SUPERTAG” function figures out the vital information from the file name (If a vaid tag is missing). It can also go onto some internet database to figure out what a certain song’s info might be. Quite impressive actually.

After I finished organizing my mp3s, I then actually did read about 15 pages in my Econ textbook. I do find it interesting, I admit. Then the rest of the night was promptly spent playing Tony Hawk 3. Once again, that game is addictive.
