09/22/03 10:07 AM: Last weekend
I have two tests today. I studied a little, but if you know anything about me, that says a lot. Accounting is the one I’m worried about. Not so much the Astronomy, because that class is a joke anyway.
I guess now would be a good time for a weekend update. Yes kids, it was one of those college weekends that just make you feel like John Belushi. Friday night opened with our bid acceptance night. After we did the ritual, we all went out and got some pizza. We went to one of my brothers houses and just chilled with the guys. One of my boys wanted to go to another party because there would be females there, so he and I went. It turned out to be a sausagefest, but the one girl that he was trying to get with was there, so he did his thing and I did mine. Had a chance with the girl who owned the house, but decided not to for some reason or another.
Saturday night was just out of control. We had been planning this around the world party for about a week. Just crazy amounts of alcohol. 21 gallons (yes, gallons) of jungle juice. Not the weak stuff too, with everclear. 10 handles of tequila, 400 beers, 6 handles of vodka. Anyway, on friday night, we learned that the vice squad was going to be out on patrol, so the guys in charge of risk management called it off. This caused a little bit of unrest within the fraternity. On Saturday, someone convinced everyone that was going that it had been moved to a different location to throw the police off, and we just drove the people that were supposed to go to the party ourselves to the location. Once there, it was unreal. To borrow a line from a recent movie, there was so much crazy boy band ass there that at times you couldn’t even move. The cops never came, and everything else went without a hitch.
I think I had my first ever hangover sunday morning because I didn’t get to drink my water before I went to bed. I think I passed out in a sitting position hugging a trash can. Hard stuff always does that to me. It was a great weekend to be in college, kids.
COLLEGE!!!
I haven’t put in a cool link in a while. Knock yourself out.
