Its been a while, I know, but I swear, I’ve been really busy. Thats why I have a lot of new stuff to say. First, last saturday, I got free tickets to the B96 Summer Bash. Believe me, I wouldn’t have bought those, but because I work in the Monster Trucks part of the Museum and that is owned by ClearChannel, which owns everything, I got to go. The only person I really wanted to see was Ludacris, but it was a decent concert. I’ve been to better, but hey, the tickets were free.
Last Tuesday, I went to Great America for the first time in about 12 years, only this time I could actually ride the roller coasters. We waited for an hour in the line for Superman before it broke down, so we had to get out of line and wait for it again for another hour and a half. The wait was worth it though. It was a pretty good coaster. The other good one was Raging Bull. Both were definatly worth the wait.
Today, I got my roommate for next year. It wasn’t what I thought it was going to be. I guess the guy I was with last spring dropped out, so I got stuck with some random guy from Brazil. This could be an interesting year, especially if he doens’t know English, because I have no idea how to speak Portuguese. But, this could work in my favor with the females in that I could introduce him and get my in with them. One of the skills I got from working at the Museum is that I can talk to complete strangers without feeling wierd. Like I said, it could be an interesting year.
