Merry Christmas!
So, how was everyone’s holiday? I awoke this morning kind of groggy, as I slept very little last night. Yeah, stupid HBO, I couldn’t sleep and ended up watching Any Given Sunday again. I have to say though, Al Pacino does a good football coach role.
Anyway, so how did my Christmas go, material good wise you ask? Well, I recieved the following, for those who care: a TDK 24×10x40 CD-RW (Yay, no more 4x burning!), a copy of The Hobbit, Radiohead’s new Live Recording CD I Might Be Wrong, Madden 2002 for the GameCube, and some assorted clothing goods. My mom accidently bought me another copy of OK Computer, but that’s OK, I didn’t open the shrink wrap, I think I can exchange it. Anyway, I sort of feel awkward recieving all these gifts, I don’t know why but in light of recent events (both 9/11 and personal problems), the whole spending lots of money to give each other random gifts on a certain day just seems kind of odd. I guess since I was sick and everything I didn’t get into the “Christmas Spirit.” I feel bad because I wasn’t as happy or cheerful as I normally would have been.
Anyway, so ends the present giving season. With my birthday being only 4 days ago, that means another 361 days until I get wrapped presents again. Well, in June there is high school graduation, at which time I hope to get my graduation gift/going off to college gift of an iBook. We will have to see.
