I’d like for everyone to take a moment of silence for our dear friend, Fred Rogers. He died of stomach cancer earlier this morning. From 1966 to 2000, he was the host of one of the longest running TV shows for kids ever. Millions of us grew up with his soft voice and “Its a Wonderful Day in the Neighborhood” melodies. “Mr. Rogers Neighborhood” was a show that didn’t involve bright flashy lights, or things blowing up, but it sure had an effect on everyone who watched it.
