05/27/02 10:31 PM: My Absence
I know I’ve been neglecting the site lately. I feel bad, but for some reason it has been hard to find some time to sit down and write.
What did I do today? Well, I tried learning some Magnetic Field stuff, but most of the day was spent playing GTA3 or Counter-Strike. Yeah, I know, I should really get out more.
School officially ended on Friday, Graduation is on Sunday. In the mean time I have to go in and take a Physics test. Yeah, this silly magnetic field test I missed a long time ago. I could practically not take it and have a C in the class, so it’s not the end of the world if I don’t get an A on the test. Which I am not expecting to get. Silly B fields.
This week is the Senior picnic, and other assorted activities. Also, I have to go to the dentist. Boo. I know I have a cavity between two of my teeth, I don’t know how they will be able to fix it. I’m sure it developed when I had braces, as its in the area that was covered up with some stupid metal band. It hurts. Down with teeth.
I have so many forms to fill out for college registration. It’s quite crazy. Even more than in the application process.
My feelings regarding the end of school are mixed. There are some people I will miss, and hope I will keep in touch with, and hope to see over the summer, but other than that I’m looking forward.
You know what I still love? The video of Weapon of Choice by Fatboy Slim. Christopher Walken’s best role ever!
On a much more serious note…
‘12m deaths’ in nuclear war
An American intelligence report says a nuclear exchange between India and Pakistan could kill up to 12 million people and injure seven million.
... I wonder how that would affect everyday life in the US, if that happened? Interesting point to ponder.
