My friend Emily told me about an episode of The Cosby Show that she saw the other day. Rudy wrote a story about these two sides that were having some sort of war or fight or whatever. I guess the story goes that she gets elected president and tells them to stop fighting. Her parents ask her what happens next. She says, simply, that they stop. If only it were that easy in the real world! Rudy then goes off to her room, and her parents turn on the television only to find scenes of bombing and fighting and whatnot on every channel. That really is pretty deep. It’s rare to find a tv show like that these days.
