05/02/01 09:38 PM: My school is a joke.
My school is a joke. Well at least their scheduling system. I can’t take the English class I want next year, with the teacher I really wanted. Furthermore, they don’t let people make appointments to switch classes. That would be fine if you could go to schedule on the day they assign to you, but, the week we are set to go and “schedule” is also AP Testing week. This happens to be the day of my AP Computer Science Test. So I had to make an appointment under the guise of “Summer College Progams” in order to see my counselor. Great planning, morons. I could see that they wouldn’t want a run on the guidence department for people saying “I want to be in X’s class, but only if my friend Y can be in it with me,” but they should make provisions for people who are “impossible to schedule.”
Anyway, I am upset about that. Tommorow I am interviewing U.S. Rep. John Shimkus, a hardcore conservative from southern Illinois. This should get interesting, well, no, probabally not.
