I hate neglecting the site. I feel bad, because some people have come to expect a certain quality of posts, a quality which has been lacking for quite a while. I think I’m going to have to work on posts when I have time during the day, small parts at a time, and then throw it on the site when its finished later at night. Something like that, I’m not sure, we will see.
I have been getting a lot of spam on my @whichwayup.org address, it’s quite annoying. Today I recieved 30 emails laden with virii. That was entertaining. NAI Virus Scanner does not play well with Mozilla Mail, unfortunately.
I don’t think I’ve mentioned this on here before, but I am looking to change my computer set up here at school. What I really want to do is put my PC at home in a much smaller case, place that on the floor, and have a LCD monitor on my desk. Also add in a wireless keyboard and mouse, and I would have a much cleaner and neater desk. As it stands now, there are so many cables and what not, even with my laptop off the desk there isn’t much space left.
Also add into my warped mind the fact that I want an iBook. You see, I can get the iBook I want for around $1280. I could sell my current laptop for more than that, I would think, and the difference would allow me to purchase some software for the iBook. The problem I have with my current notebook is that it’s just way to large and heavy. I bought it assuming I would never have a desktop at college, so it’s laden with a powerful video card and a large screen. However, if I manage to get a desktop here, then all I would want the laptop for is portable computing. I know it seems a bit redundant to have a laptop and a desktop, but that’s what I really want. I figure I could do the switch and come out even, ending up with a desktop and an iBook. I would be happy with that.
