“America’s next official victim group may be roaring your way on their Harley-Davidsons. Bikers are sick and tired of rampant anti-biker bigotry, so they are seeking status as a legally protected class in Ohio, Georgia, South Carolina and several other states. The idea is to end the ridicule, the tattoophobia, the tendency among apprehensive roadhouse owners to seat them at remote tables. “To me, it’s kind of like the back of the bus,” said a Harley-riding Georgia state senator, shrewdly adopting the rhetoric of the civil rights movement.”

That makes me want to vomit, especially the reference to “back of the bus.” Get a life, hog-boy.

I had a long post all typed up, dealing with various things, but then Greymatter broke while posting it. Nice.

Poll:

Do you think it is stupid to give AP Calculus students 6 extra credit points to wear a suit on the day the class learns an important theorm? I think this is quite stupid, and pointless. I can understand giving extra credit for taking the math competition tests—and getting questions right—but this is just silly. What about the people who can’t afford suits? What about the people who are violently ill on this day? To the back of the bus with us, huh? Six extra credit points is nothing to laugh at, either. In our class, our only points are for tests, which are out of 100, so that is like a 6% boost on a test.

I want my cable internet back! I know some people in the Pacific Northwest have their service back, however I am quite not in the Pacific Northwest, so they need to get moving. I like how they never called or anything to tell me about the status of the current situation. Nice people. The good old, “Call us. We won’t call you” attitude. Now I have one of those new, shiny, long addresses in my WHOIS while I am chatting on IRC. Fun stuff!

For those who don’t know what IRC is, it is a method of chatting on the internet, sort of like AIM, but has been around since about forever. For more information on IRC, check out this site, which I designed, nonetheless. dfd can tell you more about this as well. I should write up some stuff on all the things that have happened via IRC, it would be quite humorous! One day, One day.
