NYC is great. The cab rides were probably the best thrills I’ve had in months. They sure beat any roller coaster I’ve ever been on. Driving is something completely different there. The only rule is get where you’re going in any way possible. Basically, you can get away with anything short of running someone over. It’s almost like watching a game of chess, the way the cars weave around each other. But the cabbies are second to none. What they lack in knowledge of English, they make up for in driving skills.
