What the fuck? Cars are ridiculous. I get my car smashed into. I leave my headlights on in my mom’s car and have a dead battery. I accidentally try to break into someone else’s car. The insurance adjuster can’t look at my car until Thursday, so who the hell knows when they might get around to fixing it. And tonight I get pulled over on the way home 3 minutes from my house for not having my headlights on. And becasue New York is thoroughly ridiculous, I’m not supposed to drive after 9:00 PM until I am 18. So Officer Dick acts like he is a hell of a guy for not writing me a $300 ticket for driving “out of class.” He was also a real pal to wake up my Dad and make him come and drive me home to save me an $80 towing fee.
Okay, I do realize he was doing me a bit of a favor even though he had condescension dripping out of his asscrack, and I must have been pretty out of it to not notice my headlights were off, but with all this crap happening in not even a week, I am beginning to get a bit frustrated.
