Weblog
04/11/03 09:30 PM: Oh snap, people read this?
Okay, so it’s been a while since I updated. I just got home, tonight I’ve been in kind of a funk so, I figured why not update the weblog. Besides, I always feel like updating after talking to one of my readers…
Yeah, well anyway this weekend was elections for the Voice. The staff next semester is considerbly smaller than what we’ve had for both semesters this year, due to people graduating and going abroad. I remember back during first semester when I was the only freshman on the board, and finally now we have a few more which is a good thing, since for a while it looked sort of grim. I’ll be the section editor for the Voices section, which is the commentary/opinion/personal writing section. My election was uncontested, but mentions of my weblog were present on my ballots. In fact, the weblog was mentioned several times throughout the meeting.
Speaking of the weblog discussion, apparently people had been reading my weblog for a while, and I had sort of forgotten the point at which they had indeed found whichwayup.org. So, in particular, one weblog entry gained some attention. I had forgotten I had even written about that, as it was about four months ago. However, upon reviewing my archives I see what people are referring to.
First of all, it was lame to post my grades and such on the weblog. I have since made it a sort of policy not to do that anymore. As far as the rest of the content of said post goes, I don’t really care if people read it. I don’t want to censor my posts just because someone may read them, that’s why I have a website after all. Sure, the way I worded the post was kind of corny, but whatever, I stick by it.
I’ll try to write more tomorrow.
