03/12/02 08:52 PM: Pre-Spring Break Roundup
Looks like Kevin has been having some bad luck lately. I hope things pick up for you. How are things around here though, you ask? Well, today wasn’t that bad actually. I took the first part of an AP Physics test, but it wasn’t as horrid as I thought it would be. For Humanities we watched our school’s drama department put on a version of Camelot and Othello, it was a nice diversion from class. Things at the radio station have sort of be going to hell as of late, but I think things may start to improve. The management will now be taking things more seriously, and enforcing the rules blah blah, so I don’t know, maybe people will do more work and things can improve.
One more week until Spring Break, but I do have this stupid Psychology report thing to work on, so that makes things much less fun. Sometimes I really dislike that class, mainly because of these project things. However, we did do something interesting in there on Thursday. We worked in groups of four, and were given 24 straws and some masking tape. The goal was to build the tallest tower out of these, but the catch was you could not use verbal or written communication. Our group won, with a tower that was about six feet high. Not too shabby, huh.
Well, I am going to have to leave you now, I still have a few things to do tonight. Tomorrow I have the last pre-Primary election edition of Politics Now! I will be joined by the political analyst from one of the local newspapers to discuss the candidates. Should be interesting.
