09/17/02 11:10 AM: Quick Update (Take Two)

Well, this is a first. I am updating the site from a Mac. To be specific, it’s an iMac in the ICC (Intercultural Center), and I have a few minutes before French starts. I thought I would just briefly update the site so people didn’t think I had given up on it. Unfortunately, I have just been busy doing all sorts of things. College Democrats, The Georgetown Voice, now I am trying to see if I can run for the Freshman Rep in the GUSA (Student Association), but I missed the meeting because of a conflict with another one. Basically I am waiting on a reply to an email to the election commissioner. I hope I can run, because now I have gotten into the mood of wanting to run an election. If I don’t run, I will be running someone else’s campaign though so it’s not all lost of they deny me.

What else is new? Well, I’m pretty sure I’m about to learn I failed my French exam. That is OK though, as it’s the first one and there are something like five more this semester. So all is not lost. However I think I might switch to Spanish next semester or maybe even German I haven’t decided. I just don’t like the way the teach French here. In other news, as I type more and more on this iMac I think I am falling in love with this Mac keyboard. It seems to let me type faster and with less mistakes. Also, it is comfortable and it makes a nicer noise than the standard keyboard. I think I might make it a habit of updating from these iMacs, as it’s eaiser to think of stuff to write about when I’m not in my room doing other things.

Well, I do have to get to French class which is down the hall, but I will update more either later today, tomorrow, or who knows when but it will be “soon.”
