06/24/03 11:16 PM: Radiohead

So I’m working on an elaborate plan that will allow me to indeed see Radiohead in August. There’s the whole issue of how I’m moving back to Georgetown on August 17, and this concert is on the 23rd, but I think I have found a way to do it. Though it involves having to buy a one-way ticket, Midway-Washington. That’ll run me about $130. Is it worth it to see Radiohead (plus spend a few extra days in Illinois)?. That’s what I need to figure out. In any case, you might be left wondering why I have tickets for this at all, if scheduling makes it nearly impossible for me to go. Well, I bought two tickets for Nick, and since I could buy up to four, I just decided to get four. You can always find uses for extra tickets.
I also took some film to be developed today, I’m hoping to have some decent ones in the mix. Hopefully there will be material for a new header image on this roll. I can’t afford a digital SLR at this point, so I’ve decided to use my old Nikon FG and then scan any photos that I decide I like. Oh, my kingdom for a Nikon D100.
After dropping off the film, I stopped the local library. I had forgotten that reading can be actually enjoyable, especially when it’s not a 400 page book about northeast Brazil that you need to write a paper on. I went there to get a few books, including Zen and the Art of Motocycle Maintenance. I know I own a copy of this book, but I somehow managed to lose it. I decided to also stop at the local music store, but was painfully disappointed in their selection. They had one copy of Belle and Sebastian’s Tigermilk, and it was under “Hardcore Indie Punk” for God’s sake. Borders has a much better selection than this so called “real” music store.
Oh, so have you all see the new G5s from Apple? Rather amazing. Though, I still really just want a Powerbook. I just need to think of a way to make lots of money, preferably overnight.
Also, if you missed post number 1000, scroll down a bit and check it out.

Okay. I have added comments to the site. I will work on changing the default design for the little comment pop-up but, in any case, there are comments now. Enjoy the new feature.
I’d appreciate any comments about the 1000th post also, so go scroll down, read it and leave some.
Thanks!

You fuck up the first issue to go see Radiohead and it’s your head. Or your weblog.
