I always like seeing people I haven’t seen in a while. Coming home from school offers this opportunity on my breaks, but sometimes I find that the longer I haven’t seen the person, the better the reunion is.
Yesterday I went to Navy Pier with someone I met at musuc camp four years ago. You see, that was the last time I went to a camp as a camper, and about a year after that, I wanted to get together with everyone from that year, so I set a date really far in the future so that everyone would have the weekend off. The day I randomly picked was today, but everyone else forgot about it too. I did have one friend come up, though. It was pretty fun. We did the whole Navy Pier thing, which is expensive, but something to do. Overall though, I had a good feeling about it. I don’t know why, but it was just good to see her.
