06/13/02 10:54 PM: Silly Karl
From Roll Call’s Heard on the Hill:
“Got Plumbers? A computer disk containing a private analysis of the 2002 elections prepared by White House Political Director Ken Mehlman, who works in an administration that prides itself on being tight-lipped, somehow was left on a street corner a few blocks from the White House.
The disk, which also includes a more detailed Power Point presentation on the political climate for the 2002 and 2004 elections prepared by senior Bush aide Karl Rove, was picked up off the pavement by a Senate Democratic aide, who has been happily passing it on to others.”
Way to go guys. Hope maybe we can keep the important things like launch codes safe?
You know I realized I stay up all together too late at night. I indeed have been guilty of watching MTV at 4 AM. OK, really it would be more MTV2, or VH1 Classic Rock, but still. When I get desperate I will turn to either Discovery Wings or Discovery Civilization to try to fall asleep, nothing like the the history of the building or Roman Highways to keep you awake.
Ok… Those who know me know I lie. The history of Roman Highways probabally would keep me awake… I will just turn to “Expressions” or “Moodscapes” on the music-only channels… gotta love sat TV!
Nick is back to the more standard weblog format. It’s been a while since he’s done that gig. I had to break the news someone I know, Nick Drinka, that he will always be the second-fiddle nickd at Northwestern. He then proceeded to look at me quite oddly for a while. He just didn’t seem to get it. Some people I suppose never will.
