Due to a late night trip to the emergency vet, I haven’t had a chance to do a comprehensive update. No worries though, it looks like everything is okay with the cat. Spending the evening/morning at the emergency vet, though, is quite an experience which does indeed deserve description. However, being that it’s currently 3:47 am, that description shall wait until tomorrow.
Before attempting to get some sleep, though, I’d like to present a few photos of the Metlife blimp which is in town for the U.S. Open. It’s moored at an airport a few miles away, so I thought I might as well take some pictures. I’m not sure if it’s Snoopy One or Two:
I briefly pondered hopping the fence to get better shots, but figured that might not be the best idea. I guess I’m not as adventurous as I would like to think I am.
Oh, and in other news, I need to aquire tickets to this. I was aware Ben Folds was coming to Chicago, and I like Ben Folds, but Tori Amos also? I blame my roommate for my status as a quasi-closet Tori Amos fan. This is too good to pass up. Hmm, though now I just need someone to go with so I can say it was their idea to see Tori Amos…
