12/10/01 09:19 PM: Yale

So tonight I submitted my Part 1 of the application to Yale. Fun stuff, I love paying $65 to learn if I can pay some $35,000 more later to go to their school. Hurrah to college applications.

Also, sometime this week Kevin and I will learn our fates for our Early Action applications to Georgetown. Yay suspense. Hmm, speaking of nervousness and suspense, this Thursday I have to have a medical test done. Yeah, well let me just say it involves a fiber optic camera, and my colon. I think you can get the picture.

I have a complaint against Georgetown’s admissions office. While I was ill, my school recieved a phone call from Georgetown saying they had not recieved any test scores. Well, you see, I had my scores rushed by ACT and the College Board so I was sure they would get there on time. I call Georgetown and tell them this, and they inform me they do not accept rushed scores. Wow, thanks for telling me now! So my school fortunatly was able to fax them my scores, so I wasn’t automatically rejected or deferred. I would like to note that no where on Georgetown’s website (that I can find) does it say they do not accept rushed scores. So I wasted a lot of money having them rushed there. Bah!

I’m nervous about finding out if I got accepted at University of Chicago and Georgetown. I will know either this week or early next. AHH!

I need sleep now.
