10/03/01 01:35 PM: Now a Greyhound?
So you probably heard all about the Greyhound bus in Tennessee, right? Well ain’t that somethin. People are taking buses because they are scared to fly. Now … Well, I guess not everyone is afraid. From the Washington Post:
Joseph Kacsur was down in Sarasota, Fla., visiting his father, who was diagnosed with cancer. He left yesterday at 9:30 a.m. to get back home to Pittsburgh, but found himself cooling his heels at the bus station in the District since 7:30 this morning while Greyhound conducted security checks.
“I don’t care what they do, as long as I get back to Pittsburgh in time for the Penguin’s game at 7:30 tonight,” Kacsur said.
I guess everyone has their own set of priorities. To be fair, I have been informed that tonight is opening night of hockey season…
