Sometimes it’s painful to fully realize the extent of your own stupidity. I have this friend. She’s really cool. We talk every day and whatnot, but that’s about it. We never do anything outside of school. It’s going to be a boring summer if we don’t start hanging out, and there’s no reason not to. So today we were talking after school. She usually gets a ride home from her sister and/or brother. But today was senior skip day, so they were not there. She needed a ride home. She said something to me in passing about her brother not being in school and needing a ride. I didn’t really hear quite what she said at the time. I didn’t think much of it. Only after she bummed a ride off of someone else did it dawn on me that she was asking me for a ride. DUH! I haven’t the slightest problem understanding molecular genetics, but when it comes to simple perception like that, I’m dumber than a box of rocks. Please, send me some social skills at magician57@aubcom.com.
My AP Biology class went out and counted weeds today. Really.
So how about that Senator Jeffords? It’s kind of nice to know that the possibility exists that there may be a politician with something resembling a conscience. Just because you’re not a Republican doesn’t automatically make you good, but it couldn’t hurt.
Well, it’s a cd, but . . . Jimmy Eat World – Clarity
