Sorry, This is not really political…..

I would like to take this post as an opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Jay Perez, and I am the newest member of the d-a-v-e.com staff. I am a first year student at DePaul University in Chicago; majoring in Economics, with Minors in Communications and Political Science. The plan is to go to Law School after College. Anyway, I suppose this is more of an entry for the staff page, so I will move on to politics.

I agree with Mr. Stroup on his last point. Why the heck are they airing a Girls Basketball Game over what sounds like an interesting interview with a Congressman ???!!!! Being an alum of this radio station, I know the kinds of decisions they make. Sometimes it just seems like they change their minds every 5 minutes. Anyway, I hope Dave fights for this one. The station is taking a terribly mistaken approach. Perhaps they have already forgotten that the public airways function “in the public’s interest, convenience and necessity.” (See the Communications Act of 1934)
