03/07/04 07:47 PM: Spring Break

Hmmm, Spring Break…

I’ve had a lovely break so far, and have another week left to go! Though, I have to say the next four days or so are going to be rather boring. But, that’s okay, relaxation will be nice. Then it’s back to school until Easter. I’ll be attending the Georgetown Diplomatic Ball on April 2 with my lovely girlfriend, so I am looking forward to that as well.

I saw Blue Man Group again on Friday, and it was still as much fun as the first time. I hadn’t remembered all of the details, and the Cap’n Crunch skit is still hilarious!

Unrelated: John Kerry is now going to be the nominee it seems, what do you all think? Who would be a good running mate?

Comments made.

  1. After working on the Super Tuesday program, I believe a Kerry-Edwards ticket would be an excellent choice. Both candidates do not mirror each other, they compliment on another, and together, they can beat Bush with Kerry getting the North and Edwards the South. I believe Kerry could beat Bush, but with Edwards, he’ll be unstopable.

  2. I agree with Sean about the Kerry/Edwards ticket.

Unrelated: So Dave, we hear alot about your lovely girlfriend but we don’t really know much about her. Why don’t you tell us all about how you met, etc. And some pictures of you two lovebirds.

  4. Hey, I left you a voice message about a problem I was having with the site. I figured it out. I’m still having some trouble understanding how to work eveything, but it’s slowly coming along. Thanks for all your help.

  6. Kerry/McCain anyone? That would certainly add some spice to this election.

In unrelated news, break is going horribly, no job yet, and I’m getting a little frustrated. I will be back on Saturday with a post-spring break review.

  9. Sorry to say this, but Kerry/Edwards will never happen. Edwards definitely has Southern appeal, but it won’t be enough to carry any Southern states, especially with a New England liberal heading the ticket. Also, Edwards doesn’t have much credibility on foreign policy/national security, and Kerry needs to improve on this issue in order to beat Bush.

The problem with McCain is that he’s too conservative. He’s doing the most he can for Dems right now, plugging Kerry and lambasting Bush. We really can’t ask for more out of a senator whose voting record is predominantly Republican.

I like Bill Richardson. He has a lot of foreign policy experience, he’s Latino (good for the Southwest/West), and he was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize four times.
