03/11/03 09:59 PM: Spring Break Part Deux

So, Spring Break is in full swing. No, I am not spending my time at beautiful beaches or in strange foreign places. Nope, I am here at home, and unfortunately all the excitement seemed to have taken the last plane out before I arrived.

However, it’s nice to have some time to relax, I suppose. I cannot believe that when I return to school, there is only about a month and a half left. This year has gone by all together too fast, and I don’t really like that. I was talking to one of my teachers from high school the other day, and he said that life will be like that from now on—at least from his experience. I believe it, as much as I don’t really like it. High school seemed to last forever, but now August seems like it was just a week ago.

I wish I had more things to report about spring break, or some sort of interesting political commentary, but I just don’t really have anything right now. I’ll work on something before break is over.

The highlight of tonight was appearing on a radio show on my old high school station, WHFH-FM. It was an episode of a talk show called Close-Up and I provided some political commentary. It was fun, though not quite the same as when I used to host my own talk show there. Ah, I miss the 1500 watt goodness.

I hope everyone else who is currently on break is having a good time, perhaps I will have something more interesting to talk about later in the week. Stay tuned.
