Sorry that I haven’t updated in a while. Our server at school is being retarded, and won’t stay up for more than a day at a time.
Thanksgiving was a relaxing break for me. It was good to see some of my friends, though I would have liked to see all of them. There just wasn’t enough time. I got to eat real food again, which is always good. The only real problems were at the airports. I couldn’t find a ride to my plane at 10:30, so I caought a ride at 6:00 and just decided to sit at the airport for 4 hours. Well, they asked if I wanted an earlier flight, and I jumped at the chance. It was boarding as I got to the gate, so I just got on and enjoyed the flight home. I knew it was too easy. My luggage was put on the flight I was supposed to be on and wouldn’t arrive until midnight. I had the joy of dealing with Baggage services on a holiday weekend. Boy that was an experience.
Going back, I got to Midway at 6:30 am. I got to the baggage check and they asked me if I was on the 7:00 flight or the 7:45 flight. I promptly told them that I was on the 7:45. They told me that I was on the 7:00 and that it was boarding. I had twenty minutes to get from one end of Midway to the other. Well, they decided that I didn’t look like a terrorist and bypassed me through security. I guess thats a good thing, because I didn’t miss my flight, but its kind of scary to think that people can make those decisions.
I have two weeks before I go home again. Its the last week of classes, and then I have finals. I can’t wait until this is all over. I want my next semester now. No more classes before 10:30. Until then I have to suffer through Modern Western World and try to stay awake. So far at the end of semester, I have stayed awake for the whole class a total of two days.
