I just got back from the Renaissance Fair in Kansas City. It was a fun weekend. I think it was the first time I’ve been in bed at 10:30 for over a year though. It was an interesting weekend. Friday night, I went to my cousin’s Cross Country meet in Lincoln. She did well. I then went to the womens soccer game at UNL. They were losing 4-0 when I left the game. It was ok. The next morning, my aunt, my cousin, his friend and I all drove to Kansas City for a Renaissance Fair. It goes from Labor Day to Columbus Day, and I was surprised that most of the structures that were there were permanant. Apparently it has been going on for 22 years. It looked like a pretty lucrative venue too. Everything was priced sky high. It was fun though. I think we should bring back jousting tournaments. That was some cool stuff. Well, I have to go check mail and stuff that you do when you come home from a long weekend.
